Photographs from my visit to Erasmus Hall High School for a Career in Culinary Arts (C-CAP) cooking class with the students of Academy of Hospitality & Tourism.  The students were there to learn the art of fine cooking and dining lead by Chef Swainson Brown, an alumnus of the C-CAP program, and Chef Dan Studwell.  C-CAP, founded by Richard Grausman in 1990, is a program designed to help high school students in under served communities across the country to think about pursuing a professional culinary arts career in addition to academic studies in college.  Since the beginning of the program, over $46M in scholarships’ have been awarded.
